Playing the Landlord's Game

Playing the Landlords Game is a simple TTRPG that uses an assortment of Monopoly pieces to build a powerful experience.  Play starts with players working together to collaboratively worldbuild a neighborhood and the characters that live within it. Players then take turns roleplaying episodes within the neighborhood, trading who plays as the star player each episode as the GM places obstacles and litigates costs.

Every player starts with a random rent, income and money in their pocket. As conflicts arise and play continues money takes on a complex role as resolution, resource and implicit social power.
