Synthetic Archaeology
A downloadable game
A game for fans of history.
A game for those who want a little prompting for their heroic tales.
Synthetic Archeology is a game of collaboratively creating relics from remnants of the physical media around you and then piecing it together into stories. You and a friend will cut words and images out of books, magazines, junk mail or old papers left over from the RPGs you haven't played in ages. Then over at least five rounds you'll use these to start to slowly piece this relic together - and with it, the story it carries.
Once you've finished, write up your summary of the story that you have uncovered together and publish it online for all to see!
Synthetic Archaeology was developed by Chase Kurkowski and Adelheid Sigfridsdottir on Gamestorm, a podcast you can find on any of your favorite listening apps. If you would like to support Gamestorm and receive all of the games we make at no additional cost, you can also find us on Patreon!
