The Gingerbread Factory

With a cigar hanging from her mouth, Maiden Margot slams her rolling pin onto the body of the gingerbread man. Franklin, the cookie man, wails “Murderer!” as she shatters his delicate candy buttons and then the cookie himself. Each shard of Franklin rises from the floury work-surface, floating above her with malice: “RUN, RUN, AS FAST AS YOU CAN!”

Uh oh. The gingerbread men have come to life. The Factory Owner asks for your help! Gingerbread must be made before the Birth of the Winter Babe this Waldmas!

The Gingerbread Factory is a holiday horror adventure. Intended for Diabolic Dialect, a TTRPG game of spells, linguistics and weird wizards designed for one-shot experiences. The module can be adapted to a system of your choice.

The adventure is a printable, black & white trifold designed to be easy to print and play just like Diabolic Dialect.

Flee from DOUGH, a sticky and buttery monster from the factory vats. Fend off Carolers whose very songs are powerful curses. Unravel the mystery of gingerbread life by sparring with John Dough, a genteel gingerbread man who curses his arrogant creator.

Starting with your teensy toes and feckless fingers, your body becomes doughy as butter courses through your veins.
